Your advertising choices
When a consent message is shown, use its options to accept or refuse the optional purposes and vendors presented. You can return through Privacy and cookie settings to change or withdraw consent. The Google consent message manages these choices; there is no separate consent banner for the idea tools. If no settings message is available, it may not apply to your visit or its script may be blocked. Do not interpret the absence of a message as consent. Browser settings can block or remove cookies as an additional measure.
Saved and skipped ideas
The idea tools use local storage when you ask the site to remember a choice. “nm31-saved” stores saved topic identifiers, “nm2-saved-v1” stores saved leisure-idea identifiers, and “nm31-known” stores topics you have marked as already known. These are first-party browser entries, not advertising cookies. They have no automatic expiry. They remain until you remove the choices, clear the site’s storage, the browser clears it, or the tool replaces older entries when a storage limit is reached. Removing saved items or resetting skipped topics changes the corresponding list.
What the basic tools do without cookies
Reading an article, viewing its search phrases and calculating a day plan do not require an advertising cookie or a visitor account. Copy buttons act only when pressed. Your browser can retain visited pages and search addresses in its own history, and your device can retain clipboard contents separately. Blocking local storage may stop a shortlist from surviving a page reload but does not turn an optional advertising choice into a required one.
Advertising and analytics technologies
Google AdSense and other configured services can use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers for delivering, measuring and personalising advertising, preventing fraud, or measuring website use. The exact names, vendors, purposes and lifetimes vary with the active services and your choices. The consent message and its vendor information describe the optional technologies applicable to your visit. Where consent is required, those technologies must follow that choice. Rejecting personalised advertising is not necessarily the same as rejecting every optional storage or measurement purpose, so review the available controls.
Functional and security storage
The live hosting, security or consent service may store information needed to keep the website secure, remember a consent choice or deliver a feature you request. Administrators who sign into WordPress also receive the login and security cookies associated with that account. Public visitors do not need to sign in to use the guide collection. A strictly necessary storage purpose does not make unrelated advertising or tracking necessary.
Clearing your choices
Use the saved-idea controls to remove individual items or clear this website’s cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data removes the saved shortlist and skipped-topic preferences on that browser and may cause the consent message to appear again. It does not automatically erase records already held by another provider. To make a data-rights request, use the contact details in the Privacy policy. To revoke device location permission, use the browser or device’s site-permission settings; this is separate from cookie consent.

Google explains its technologies and account-level advertising controls below. For the exact choices associated with this website, use the site’s own Privacy and cookie settings rather than relying only on a Google account preference.
